I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and I’ve lived here for my whole life. I always root for the home team and I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.

Once upon a time I thought I wanted to be a computer programmer when I grew up. I thought I wanted to make video games for a living until I made it 3 sessions into my first programming class in college before I decided that life was not for me. I replaced that class with a photography class since I needed an art credit anyways and it seemed easy enough. I never put a lot of thought into photography, it just seemed easy. Little did I know that class would have a huge impact on my life. Something about photography really sparked my creative side into gear. I knew I had found a new passion.

That same year in 2008 I was in a pretty bad car accident that left me with two broken legs (that’s a story for another time). I spent many a night in the hospital and after with nothing to do and that spark of photography sending me to check out as many websites, YouTube channels and blogs that I could find. I started soaking up as much information as I could. Learning the ins and outs of photography, seeing how the pros shot, and looking at tutorials. I always brag that I am a self taught photographer and, in a way, those few months after my accident were like my own personal classroom. When I got back on my feet (literally) I got my first real DSLR and went back to school. That passion for photography grew with me until I graduated and still grows to this day.

Nowadays, you can’t just be a photographer. Throughout my journey I have found myself working in different roles and expanding my knowledge to a ton of different crafts. The main craft being marketing. I’ve worked with some amazing brands from Red Bull to Blizzard Entertainment, Major League Gaming, Everything Drift, Jungle Jim’s, March First Brewing, Astra and Cincinnati Distilling. I’ve also ran my own projects through the years as well.
